{"id":1223,"date":"2014-08-29T14:50:49","date_gmt":"2014-08-29T13:50:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cheminees-seguin.com\/en\/?p=1223"},"modified":"2017-09-04T13:37:10","modified_gmt":"2017-09-04T12:37:10","slug":"ihs-smartcontrol-a-revolution-in-the-wood-heating-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cheminees-seguin.com\/en\/ihs-smartcontrol-a-revolution-in-the-wood-heating-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"IHS SMARTCONTROL, A REVOLUTION IN THE WOOD HEATING SECTOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2 companies SEGUIN (France) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hwam.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HWAM<\/a> (Denmark) have created a common company to implement and operate a new system for wood appliances: IHS SMARTCONTROL (former Autopilot Intelligent Heat System), which allows the <strong>automatic regulation<\/strong> of the appliance thanks to a remote control. 5000 hours of testing had been required and had been jointly carried out with the Copenhagen University in order to develop this fantastic innovation for the <strong>heating comfort<\/strong>, the daily use and the <strong>environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>IHS SmartControl<\/strong> system allows increasing by <strong>17% the efficiency, decreasing by 50% the wood consumption and reducing the particles\u2019 emissions in the atmosphere\u2026 <\/strong>and this while being able to regulate at the <strong>required temperature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The principle lies on a probe which analyses in real-time the components of the smokes during the combustion and automatically opens and closes consequently the different air intakes. The fire speed is then permanently optimum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In practice, the remote control serves as a thermostat and allows the appliance to adjust its speed to reach the required ambient temperature, while continuing to control the emissions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The system detects when there\u2019s not enough wood and emits a signal to load wood again.
