Inauguration of the new logistics platform in Randan: a new trajectory for the SEGUIN Group and the region

The SEGUIN Group is inaugurating its brand-new logistics platform in Randan, in the presence of Eric Gold, Senator for the Puy-de-Dôme, and Sandrine Couturat, Mayor of Randan. This major project marks a key milestone in the development of the SEGUIN Group and in the economic growth of the region. With an extension of more than 1,500 m², the SEGUIN Group reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its local presence and addressing the growing demands of the market.

A development trajectory focused on the future

This new infrastructure is part of the SEGUIN Group’s long-term vision. Since 1976, the SEGUIN Group has placed particular emphasis on continuous innovation and the improvement of its processes. Each year, from its Randan site, it manages between 12,000 and 15,000 shipments to 300 distributors across France and in nearly 40 countries. The 1,500 m² extension, bringing the total surface area to 5,500 m², represents a 30% increase in storage capacity.

People and working conditions at the heart of the SEGUIN Group’s strategy

The SEGUIN Group places people at the heart of its strategy. It is committed to providing its employees with safe working conditions that support their professional fulfilment. Improving working conditions, with facilities designed to make everyday tasks easier for teams, is an integral part of its vision of a responsible and committed company.

A strong local presence and long-term commitments

The opening of this new platform represents an investment of €1 million as part of a wider €6 million programme in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, including €4 million specifically allocated to Randan.

“A project entrusted exclusively to local partners, without any form of sectarianism, but with the understanding that it is also our responsibility to support the sustainability of a strong economic fabric in our rural areas […]. Our Group is also built on firm convictions and strong commitments, foremost among them our local roots and our unwavering determination to fully play our role within the communities where we operate,” explains Pascal Cornet, Chief Executive Officer of the SEGUIN Group.

Eric Gold, Senator for the Puy-de-Dôme, continues:

“If this is a rightful source of pride for you and your teams, you should know that it is also a source of pride for the elected representatives who are deeply committed to this area…”

Growth and future prospects

The SEGUIN Group currently employs 350 people, including 120 in Randan. Over the past five years, 15 new positions have been created, both in the workshops and at the company’s headquarters. In 2026, the SEGUIN Group will celebrate 50 years of commitment to the economic development of the regions in which it operates.

The SEGUIN Group continues to innovate and extend its reach well beyond the borders of its home region. This positive momentum has also been recognised through its nomination for the Puy-de-Dôme Business Awards in the “Shining Companies” category. This distinction highlights the company’s influence and growth at both national and international level.
