The SEGUIN Group’s manufacturing quality also ensures rapid temperature rise and even heat distribution throughout your home.

The benefits of a wall-mounted stove for your home

Space savings and a panoramic view of the flames

Installing a suspended wood-burning stove completely frees up floor space. This suspended configuration allows for unobstructed movement in your room while providing efficient wood heating. The suspension height, adjustable to your needs, offers an optimal view of the fire from your sofa or dining table. This suspended installation transforms your heating experience.

Flexible installation and optimal heat distribution

The wall-mounted or central suspended wood stove adapts to various interior layouts. Whether you have a standard or cathedral ceiling, our wall-mounted suspended solutions fit your architecture. The elevated position naturally improves the circulation of warm air, avoiding the cold spots often found with traditional stoves. This suspended installation also makes maintenance easier: no more bending down to load wood or clean out the ashes.

How to choose your suspended wood stove?

Heat Output and Area to Be Heated

The choice of your suspended stove’s output depends on the volume to be heated and your home’s insulation. For a well-insulated home, allow approximately 1 kW per 10 m². Our models offer a range of outputs, suitable for both small spaces and large living areas. To help you make your decision, consult our comprehensive guide to choosing the right wood stove. Our network of qualified installers will assist you in selecting the optimal size for your wall-mounted stove.

Fireplace Type and Available Options

At SEGUIN, our wood stoves come with several options to best meet your needs. In fact, our stoves are available with various glass panel configurations: single-sided, double-sided, or triple-sided. These options allow you to admire the flames from multiple angles, depending on your needs and the layout of the room you’re heating. Some round wall-mounted stoves offer a 180° view, ideal for open spaces. The size of the logs accepted (33, 40, or 50 cm) also influences your choice depending on your fuel supply. The design of your wall-mounted stove adapts to your needs.

Installation and Maintenance of Your Wall-Mounted Stove

Installing a suspended wood stove requires the services of a qualified RGE professional. The wall mounting must support the weight of the unit and comply with current safety standards. The flue must also be properly sized and insulated. To learn everything about the installation process, check out our comprehensive wood stove installation guide. Our SEGUIN network installers guarantee a compliant and safe suspended installation.

Maintaining your suspended installation is simple: regularly empty the ash pan, clean the glass with cold wood ash or a suitable cleaning product, and have the flue swept twice a year. The elevated position makes these routine tasks easier, making daily use more enjoyable.
