The leading European label for wood heating
The Flamme Verte Label was created in 2000 with the support of ADEME and is managed by the Renewable Energy Syndicate.
Its objective: to promote the marketing of high-performance, high-quality domestic wood-heating appliances!
Thanks to the creation of this label, heating appliances have become increasingly efficient and advanced. Today, energy efficiency is 30% higher than it was 10 years ago.
Since 2010, the Flamme Verte label has introduced a rating system to identify the highest-quality wood-burning and pellet-heating appliances.
The benefits of this label for you
The Energy Transition Tax Credit
Buyers of a Flamme Verte-certified appliance benefit from a 30% Energy Transition Tax Credit on the total price of the appliance (including tax), up to €8,000 for a single person or €16,000 for a couple.
The Interest-Free Eco Loan
You may also be eligible for the interest-free Eco Loan (Eco-PTZ). It allows you to finance energy-efficiency renovations in your home without paying interest.
ANAH Financial Assistance
You can also benefit from financial aid from the National Housing Agency (ANAH). It offers two financial assistance programs depending on the scale of the renovation work. ANAH aid is subject to income limits.
The Energy Voucher
The energy voucher can help you pay for energy-saving renovations, purchase wood fuel, or pay your energy bills. The energy voucher is valid for 1 year but can be converted into a renovation voucher valid for 3 years.
To be eligible for all these benefits, you must choose a Flamme Verte-certified product and have the work carried out by a professional certified “Recognized Environmental Guarantor” (RGE)
Until December 31, 2019, 6-star and 7-star products were eligible. From January 1, 2020, only 7-star products are eligible for the Flamme Verte label.
