"Around the Fire" in a few words…

Founded in 1983 by Gilles Sylvestre and his wife, SYLVESTRE offers home solutions ranging from electrical systems to heating.
In 2013, the Autour du Feu brand was launched with the aim of specializing in renewable energy. The store now has a staff of 10, all with extensive experience in wood, pellet, and gas heating systems.

The 1,200-square-meter store in Champniers, near Angoulême, showcases a wide variety of appliances from the Seguin range, including fireplaces and stoves. Some of them are in operation, so you can see the quality of the flame for yourself.

A team with a wide range of skills

Like all Seguin exclusive dealers, their services range from consultation to installation and maintenance. Regularly trained on the latest products, the team offers its expertise to ensure your project is well-planned and executed.
Serving the entire Charente region, particularly around Angoulême, they also travel to Cognac and the Jarnac area, as well as Neuvicq-Le-Château and Aigre.
They may also travel further south, toward Barbezieux or Mouthiers-sur-Bohème, or even further east, between Chassenon and Rochechouard, and further north in the Ruffec region. Autour du Feu specializes in Seguin stoves and fireplaces, as well as JC Bordelet for metal design.

We have been Seguin dealers for 12 years.

My fondest memory is from the seminar that included a hike up Puy de Dôme.

Could you briefly tell us about your company's history?

The business was founded in 1983 (electrical work, heating), followed by the expansion into the “Stoves, Fireplace Inserts, Fireplaces…” sector in 2013, with the opening of a showroom in Angoulême (Champniers) and the start of a partnership with Seguin.
